# 403 workspace_forbidden

> The key is valid, but it does not carry a scope that the operation needs.

HTTP 403Not retryable

## Why

For example, `POST /v1/assessments/query` needs `history`, and `response_mode: "detailed"` needs `detailed`. The same code answers when your workspace is not entitled to the operation or is suspended.

## What to do

Use a key with the correct scope. If your keys need a scope that they do not have, ask NoResponse to add it.

## In the SDKs

The Node and Python SDKs raise `PermissionDeniedError`. The Go SDK returns `*apierrors.PermissionDeniedError`, which you match with `errors.As`.
